Marko reported weekly to senior executives and monthly to Toyota management on the status of the start-up, financial results, and performance-based metrics. He led the team to a successful international transportation launch from his involvement with onsite and cross-border LLP and Operations plant support to customs brokerage and OTR operations. Simultaneously, he launched an international OTR operation for a Tier 1 TMMGT supplier during the ramp-up of the Toyota plant all while ensuring both accounts remained profitable generating over $3.5M in gross revenue.
Before that, Marko was a Senior Logistics Engineer at Ryder, where he served as the lead at Forma Automotive. Marko spearheaded the launch by becoming the SME for Formas ERP system, QAD, as well as creating an ordering system tailored to a broadcast onsite supplier. Due to the success of the start-up, Marko and his team earned Ryder, Forma, and TMMTX recognition for launching an onsite supplier with zero plant interruptions. Marko led the team to over $2M in customer savings and avoidance as well as an overall inventory accuracy of 99.5%. While at Forma, Marko earned a promotion from Logistics Engineer to Senior Logistics Engineer.
