Due to our explosive growth, we are adding an experienced Dispatcher for our 2nd shift that has experience with dispatching and trucking operations! This is 3pm to 1am shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor each driver and/or route assigned by our customer and to ensure on time statuses of each load and or route as well as maintaining clear communication with all drivers and other employees.
• Receive emails and phone calls and be responsive to the current needs of the parties involved.
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
• Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries.
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
• Use phone or computer to send appropriate info to vehicles or other members of the driver or office groups, as applicable.
• Provider information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
• Other duties as assigned by authorized personnel.

Skill(s): The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and work under a fast-paced environment. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable fleet efficiency through good planning and communication by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in related positions or transportation/logistics industry a plus.

Education: HS Diploma / Some College Preferred

Qualifications:

• Some experience with transportation operations preferred.
• Experience working with Carriers and CDL drivers preferred.
• High level proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, Access)
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to Multitask and understand level of prioritization.
• Bilingual – Spanish a plus
